Getting a service team and ordering stuff
The past few weeks have been really busy, since I have been occupied more than usual with with work because of the new helicopter my employer is about to implement and the fact that our helicopter base is moving in a few months.
But preparations on all fronts are progressing and I´ve finally decided on a service team. I decided to join a British service team called Torque Racing Services, who offers a big service truck as well as 4×4 pick-up for fast service. They will take care of me and the bike, as well as transport my stuff along the route. As team mates I have neighbouring Swedes as well as participants from Britain.
As the race is less than three months away, it´s time to order tyres and other equipment I will need during the race. Since our service truck is currently located outside Finland, I decided to order the tyres straight to where the truck is and this way avoid extra costs and hassle.
I received word from the factory that delivery of my bike is about a week late, so I try to prepare everything so the bike can be prepared and tested as soon as the bike arrives.
In my training I´ve focused on riding, since winter is approaching fast and I only will ride for about a month actively.
Hope to show you some cool pics of the bike in my next post.
